A temporary home
The student home in Merano-Maia Alta.
Our student home in Merano offers young people between the ages of 16 and 19 from all over South Tyrol a home during their school years. The home can accommodate 90 senior and vocational students and is supervised by pedagogically trained staff. The board includes a balanced breakfast and dinner as well as lunch on request.

At our student home in Merano, we attach great importance to promoting the personal development and collective education of young people.
Rooms and facilities
Our 47 single, double and triple rooms offer space for a total of 90 students. Each room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet, WiFi and some rooms have a balcony. Popular meeting points include the leisure and TV room, the games room with billiards table, the internet point, the bistro and the garden. The young people also have access to the fitness room and can use the pool by arrangement and on selected days at the end of the summer.
Schools and accessibility
The young people at our home in Merano attend various schools in the city, including the Kaiserhof regional hotel management school, the Italian "Cesare Ritz" regional hotel management school, the Savoy regional vocational school for the hospitality industry, the "Luis Zuegg" regional vocational school for trade, crafts and industry and the "Marie Curie" specialised secondary school for tourism and biotechnology. Our student home in Merano is a 10-minute walk from the town centre and the bus stop is right next to the building.
